Supporting the growth of Downtown
The Downtown Neighborhood Association is a group of area businesses and residents interested in promoting, preserving and improving our neighborhood. We encourage everyone to participate in the evolution of our area.
The DNA was officially founded in January, 1996 to represent the neighborhood residents and businesses of downtown Richmond on issues such as zoning, public safety, business and resident retention, grafitti vandalism, trash collection and concentration of homeless services within our area.
Membership is comprised of interested individuals and businesses within the boundaries established by members at large. We encompass the area east of Belvidere Street, west of 5th Street, south of Broad Street, and north of Canal Street.
The DNA is recognized as a 501 (c)(3) not-for- profit organization.
