www.firstfridaysrichmond.com

First Fridays is held on the first Friday of each month, rain or shine. This unique cultural event showcases Richmond's thriving arts community, focusing on the diverse arts and cultural venues located along the Historic Broad Street Corridor. Participating galleries include 1708 Gallery, Ingalls Gallery, Curated Culture's Cornerstone Gallery, Gallery 5, and Quirk Gallery among other.

In addition to bringing visitors and economic activity Downtown, the main goal is to promote appreciation of Richmond’s rich arts community. The public attends various art exhibitions at participating galleries and alternative exhibition spaces within walking distance of the Historic Broad Street District. Because the program is free, First Fridays attracts a diverse population of all ages, inviting everyone to experience the arts directly and learn more about it in a safe and comfortable, yet stimulating setting.

The galleries are within walking distance of Virginia Commonwealth University, The Jefferson Hotel, Linden Row Inn, Richmond Convention Center, and the Downtown Marriott Hotel and only minutes from Downtown, Historic Fan District, or Northside.
